Rules and Scoring Please read carefully. - The weekly Scrap Challenges will be posted and begin at 10:00am CT on Monday, remaining effective until 8:00pm CT on the following Sunday.
- Team points will be due to the League Referee by 10:00am CT on Monday, and will be tallied and posted on Monday afternoons.
- All submitted pages must be newly-created with primarily (at least 50%) Club Scrap® materials. Digitally created pages made with Club Scrap® Digital elements may be submitted only by players on the Digital Teams. Pages must include photos, personal embellishing, and journaling or text. This journaling or text can be created with any type of device such as tags, stickers, stamps, handwriting, typewriting, computer-generated, etc. Page size must be a minimum of 4x4" or equivalent square inches.
- Pages that were previously created with ALSB™ methods may be submitted as long as they are freshly completed with photos, personal embellishing, and journaling or text. (See requirements in previous rule.)
- All submitted greeting cards must be newly-created with primarily (at least 50%) Club Scrap® materials. Cards must include a minimum of two art elements. The elements can be an image, technique, greeting or quote. These elements can be created with any type of device such as tags, stickers, stamps, die cuts, handwriting, art or ink technique, etc. Finished card size must be a minimum of 3x5" or equivalent square inches. The card can be a folded card, a card folded in a unique or creative way, or a post card that meets the size requirements. Club Scrap® respectfully requests the use of common sense. Your cards should be presentable for mailing. If you wouldn't send it to a friend, it likely does not meet challenge requirements. In other words, avoid slapping an image onto a 3x5 piece of paper and calling it a card. The use of creativity, the layering of paper, and experimentation with techniques are all encouraged! ATC cards do not qualify for the challenge. Digitally created cards made with Club Scrap® Digital elements may be submitted only by players on the Digital Teams.
- All pages and cards must be submitted by the creator, to their appropriate Team wing in the Art Galleria. The submission must be uploaded by the creator, while signed in with his or her Club Scrap® Community Neighbor ID, and under the “My Artwork” tab in “My Place.”
- One point is given for each completed page or card as described in Rules Three, Four, and Five. A "double page spread" counts as two pages and will credit the team with two points.
- Page submissions that comply with weekly "Two Point" challenges will receive two points for a single page or four points for a double page spread. A double page spread qualifies for the challenge if the challenge is met on either one or both pages of the spread. Card submissions that comply with the weekly "Two Point" challenges will receive two points.
- Pages and cards must be newly completed for each weekly challenge and may not be used multiple times. Pages and cards that have been previously posted elsewhere do not qualify for points. However, once the page or card has been posted for a one or two-point challenge, it can be submitted or posted at any non-PSL location.
- There is no personal limit to the number of pages or cards that can be submitted in any one week, as long as all submissions are newly completed.
- Team Coaches may not submit their work for points.
- The League Referee will make the official call when a rule, score, or challenge is called into question, and all decisions are final and non-negotiable.
- Any prizes or discounts for each week of the PSL™ will be awarded ONLY to those players who participated by earning points for their team.
- Each Team Coach will choose a Team Captain to assist with PSL™ tasks. Weekly point tallies will be counted by this player and relayed to the Referee following the completion of the weekly challenges.
- Inspiring and supporting fellow Players on all Teams through comments in the Art Galleria, Private Messages, etc. is strongly encouraged. However, please refrain from making posts to the Coffeehouse Chat in Team areas other than your own.
- The PSL™ rules and Weekly Challenges are simply suggestions for the non-competitive team. There will be no rulings made on their submissions.
“Stealing the Joy" Rule
Club Scrap's® PSL™ was designed to be inspiring, fun, and uplifting – but as with anything else, the experience will be what you make of it. There shall be no whining, no stomping of feet, and no swapping of teams. Most importantly: this is supposed to be fun – do not, under any circumstances, steal anyone’s joy, or let anyone steal your joy. It’s up to you. If a player breaks any of these rules, he or she will be subject to PSL™ Penalties. Amen.
The ”What If" Clause
When given a challenge, with specific guidelines, scrappers must refrain from imagining superfluous 'What if' circumstances. Any frivolous 'What if . . .' questions to the referee will incur a 10-point penalty.
