yup, i blame it on the mess.
as i was finishing up the salsa/jubilee layouts, and was attempting to clean up (gasp) i saw another combo. sheet of Birds of a Feather blue was hiding beneath a stack of Jubilee pinks....
i had originally pulled out these pics of Greta for a Jubilee layout, and even though the colors were a perfect match, i kept thinking it just looked too heavy, maybe this wasn't the right paper combo. (ohhhh, but the pinks jived with her pinky skin so perfectly)
well, what is that they say? good things come to those who don't clean up their work area?
something like that.
the lighter Birds of a Feather blue added just the right amount of 'light' to the layout. perfect.

i ran out of journaling real estate, so i tucked a journaled card behind the photos
(my new favorite punch, again. i was my favorite a while ago, and i love it again)
