No way. Somehow November is over and the long weekend is finished, too.
Man, time really does fly, doesn't it?
The only shopping I did on Black Friday was when I took my son to the electronics store so he could buy himself a digital camera with his birthday money. That's when my ancient version of Photoshop Elements decided to bite the dust. There's an error in the program and the CD is apparently scratched. Dang!
I made almost the whole Thanksgiving meal on Friday night -- brand new turkey breast, leftover dressing, new gravy, leftover beans, etc. I adore Thanksgiving dinner. I really do. We had the same meal Saturday night, and if I had had more dressing and green beans, we would've had it again Sunday night!
So the big news of the weekend is my continuing obsession with the impending arrival of my corgi puppy. I found a social networking site just for me. http://www.MyCorgi.com -- how can I stand it? It's so adorable! It really reminds me of this fabulous social networking website for us Club Scrap freaks!
I'm putting off going to bed -- the sooner I sleep, the sooner I'll wake up and greet the week. Argh. It's now officially the Christmas season. I need a nap! A hot toddy! A warm blankie, a puppy to cuddle, and a good book to soothe my ravaged soul! And, of course, a nice stamp and some inks to play with wouldn't be unwelcome....

... Bay- I love Thanksgiving dinner as well.Last year we celebrated it on Saturday, which helped out of town folks that worked on Friday. This year we did it on Thursday again. My daughter came over on Wednesday, to bake pies and such. It was nice to split the coooking up. I also had a half day from work on Wednesday, and since I worked from home and started at 0530, I was free from 0930 on- the Thanksgiving holiday seemed to last for days. No Black Friday shopping for me, but cyper Monday might catch me! Have a great one and good luck with you upcoming puppy, Cathy |
