Oh I am soooo ready for this! The weather peeps are talkin' bout it's gonna be up around 60° today! OHH YEYAS!!!
In honor of that and what it does to my mood, and partly because I heard through the virtual grapevine that some folks were struggling with the Common Threads Yellow Print paper.
That golden yellow is bright and beautiful and full of sunshine and warmth. At least that's what I see when I look at it and I love it! So, I grabbed some pics of my favorite sunny yellow crocuses that I discovered matched that paper awesomely and put together a digital layout that I just know I could translate to paper so I could see for myself how yummy that yellow paper was.
I think I was right. I'm way happy with the results and I just might put it together in paper too if I can find my way to my craft space this weekend sometime.
And now I have a bright sunny desktop photo on my laptop to warm me up if it gets cold next week like the weather peeps say is going to happen (yuck)
I'm thinking about some bright cornflower blue posies I have pics of that might look pretty good on this paper too. Ooooo or a beautiful blue sky with some puffy white clouds and deep green leaves on the trees. You know, the kind of day when it's so clear that every color looks like it's fresh out of a Sherwin Williams paint can, but couldn't be, because only God could make that perfect a color. That kind of pic would be amazing on this paper I'm thinking.
Hmmm now that I think about it, I could make some more and put them up all over the house to warm me up where ever I am.
Here's that sunny layout:
