Yesterday was my second Workshop. It was great!!! 5 women, including my very supportive sister who came 6 hrs to support me! Two other members and two non-members. The moment people started coming in, there was enthusiastic chatting and laughter. A great atmosphere. It was wonderful having members there talking up CS! We had so much fun, and everyone wants to do it again. But alas, no one's ready to host (I don't have the room!), and no new members. But they bought a bunch of stuff! I was worried the ALSB wouldn't be 'good enough' for the talented members - but they seemed to love it! And one has already emailed a completed layout! So I am very encouraged. I was nervous about this one, and seemed to spend hours preparing for it, but now I feel much more confident and eager to do more! Thanks CS!

... Great work! And I love the kit you scrapped, Utopia! I actually wound up trimming down the mattes that you showed in your photo because it looked so good with these funky 4 square photos I got from my Action Sampler film camera (it's got a rotary shutter release that opens 4 lenses, one at a time in rapid succession, and prints all 4 shots in a single film frame)   |
