Ever been to a Club Scrap® Retreat or event?
We have a standing "rule" at these functions . . . an unbreakable rule when presented with gifts or new collections . . . "On three . . . we all open together!"
One could argue that this rule was implemented purely because of my desire to control the reaction of the group — and I must honestly admit that the feeling of power offered up during these moments tend to reach euphoric heights, but that's a discussion for another session.
Truth be told, experiencing the response of the group in a tidal wave fashion is unsurpassed — for both staffers and guests. The wave begins its ascent upon the simultaneous opening of the item, peaks as the glorious realization of its contents sets in, and slowly descends onto the shores of tranquility with the knowledge that it is, in fact, joyfully in the hands of its rightful owner.
If only we could experience the new January "Navajo" collection together . . . but alas, the best I can do is give you a quick 1-2-3 count and send you out into the deep end of the spoiler pool . . . check out these ALSB pages . . .
