Newly improved?

Darn! Why can't I get my image to show? I have copied the 2nd link on the galleria site again & again. Somebody HELP. Please?

I just wasn't satisfied with my first Weekly Chronicles Challenge layout. It didn't seem balanced, like it was missing something. The only thing I could think to add was more journaling. But how? And wouldn't it be too much?

I was inspired by  Petra. Her layout with Chapter One had a LOT of journaling and looked great. Also, I realized I had not identified it as week 1 of chronicles nor given the date. Hooray - I think the added journaling pulled it more together.

 What do you think?

Hmmm, not sure what's happening. You need to make sure that you have the coding at the end. You can just type those extra bits. If you've done it right, you should see the picture before you even press the post button. I always click the Tree image in the menu, add the picture coding, and then it asks for a description - I don't know if it's necessary, but I always put it in. If you want to edit your post, you can go to My Place/My Blog, and choose edit from there, so that you don't have to duplicate your work. See if that helps, Lynn!

Well, there you go. I put in the coding and the word Image showed up where my text was! It's supposed to be [ then IMG then ] before your image. Then [ /IMG ] at the end. But no spaces. I had to put those there so my instructions would show up.

Hi Pam,

Thanks so much for the help. I am STILL not able to post to my blog. I followed your directions but same result as I had before. I have tried everything, even on a different computer. I am glad I was able to post to our chat (don't know why posting to blog would be any different. I will keep trying.

Thanks! And I'm sorry. Did you try starting with the Tree icon? It should pull up a little box with 3 tabs. Are you able to get that far? I just tested this and you need to use the coding that DOES NOT have the [ img ] coding. The code you paste in should start with http: and end with .jpg
See if that works. You can delete your post from My Blogs if it's not working out.

Hey Pam - thanks! The trouble was I didn't know how to post the link to the blog. You had said the tree (and you were correct) and I thought that meant the sidebar tags stuff. Then, I saw that little little icon of a tree at the top! Duh! I'm learning'
