There were a lot of you that emailed me directly asking to see some more of Vivian's artwork so I searched my computer to see what I had scanned. Here are a couple of drawings that I happened to have on my computer. This one is called "God's Word is Alive and Active in Me". I love the detail in this one, especially the nails with the pool of blood. I also love how she took a passage of Scripture that she loved and hand wrote it. For those of you that don't know much about Vivian, well, she is dyslexic. Even at almost 17 it takes a lot of concentration for her to copy words down without making mistakes. Now, ask her to draw you something and it's no big deal but writing words is is a big deal.
Here's one of my favorites. She calls this one "Extreme Close Up". I think that one thing I really love about Vivian's art is that when she draws people she draws the inperfections. Notice how the eyebrows and eyelashes aren't perfect. The hairs kind of go this way and that. I also LOVE the reality of how Vivian draws eyes and lips. Okay....I'll stop talking now.
