Well, that is about the fastest I have ever acted on inspiration from a blog, I think.
Kay posted her cards on a blog entry that I just read TODAY and I literally got up and made some similar cards right away! I used a similar color scheme, though I mixed in a bit more pink because that is what I had nearby. The background love collage stamp is from the Vday/Love kit from 2011, the main stamp is from Academy, though not the same one Kay used (I couldn't find mine), and the sentiment is from Oh Baby! (2006). I punched a heart and added some ribbon.
Nearly everything was made from POPs (black base from card grab bag, red matte from Egyptian (red POP set), and white from Cyprus. Quick and easy.
THEN....after I finished my 3 teacher valentines, I made a set for my older daughter's class. I'll copy them for 2nd daughter's class too.

I finally used up some of those ATC sets CS sold a few years ago. I never made ATCs with them, but they seemed useful, so I bought a few sets. Great for quick kids valentines, and I don't have to feel bad if they throw them away. I stamped the background piece with TyeDye bubbles, then the smaller matte with the love collage from a Vday/Love kit from 2011. I added a stamp from Chapter One, and a sentiment from Wings (girls)/Just Dandy (boys), then stamped the back with the Love frame from Vogue so the girls can sign their name inside.
The most amazing part - it's still January, people. Not EVEN the night before these are due to be handed out in class. Will wonders never cease? :)
