Rubber Stamped Christmas Ornaments

Why not put your favorite quotes on the tree? I found clear glass bulb ornaments at my local craft store, and had to grab a couple for adding the great CS rubber stamp quotes I get each month. For this bulb I used the Angels On High UM and the Vogue Heaven Give You Merry Days wood mounted stamp. Then embellished a teeny bit with Jesse James Dress It Up plastic mini cookie cutters, from their Cutting Cookies packet. Of course it's as easy as it looks.

Just stamp on text weight paper and roll cut out quote around something round, I used a wooden dowel.

Fun, easy to make, and a cute gift idea!

While I had my Angels On High stamps out and was thinking ornaments, I stamped the litte tiny Angels On High sheet music UM onto text weight paper and made a little song book ornament to hang on the tree. I forgot to add the little metal gold bell from the Dec Aurora Borealis Embellishment Cup to this ornament before taking the picture, but it's perfect now!

I made the two ornaments below last year, but still can't get enough CS stamped quotes on my tree.

Remember these houses?  I just love bringing out the ornaments I've made in the past.

The WOW Holiday house project is similar, you just cut them out with a craftknife and they are cute as can be.

I'm so glad we still carry the pocket watch, since I need to make more ornaments out of them!

I could go on and on if time would allow, but that's it for now. Thanks so much for looking and Merry Christmas!!!

Kay

Wishing I could remember to make holiday things in the summer too, but it's not until this week that I got inspired for making ornaments. As long as I have the supplies handy and everything needed from GHM, it doesn't take me long! I just have to make sure the needed supplies are handy so I can put little things together here and there (of course I have a table in the basement of stuff waiting to be put together, thankfully it's in a place that doesn't need to be cleaned off daily, weekly or monthly )smilies/grin.gif

Kay, these are stunning... I'm racing off to make a few of my own. I just love the great idea of using so many CS rubber stamp phrases as ornaments! Thanks for the super duper great idea. Happy Christmas!
