Yes, it's true, I'm gonna spoil you with a spoiler . . . our 150th monthly collection ships tomorrow and I just can't help but share the love a little (part of my ongoing therapy, ya know) . . . this is the beginning of the "breach" part of the program, btw, so close your eyes now if you don't wanna see . . .

Stay with me now . . .
As a mother of three, I had the distinct pleasure of popping out my little lovelies in their own special and unique ways . . .
Nikki chose to torture me with pangs and pains for 2 weeks before making her appearance, then promptly pooped on me. Nice huh? Good thing she's cute.
Nathan arrived on the scene while doing a tangle dance with his cord — blue was not the color I was hoping for, but he quickly worked out the breathing thing and all was right with the world.
Although my little baby Weston presented me with a delightfully pain-free experience, my sister (who was taking pics) managed to perfectly time a fainting spell while I was in the midst of my final push . . . it was unintentional. I just know it. Right?
Why do I share this information with you?
Because we here at the Clubhouse feel a sort of motherly kinship to our collections . . . and so it goes with the birthing of each . . . the method of delivery is never quite the same.
Take this newest addition to the Club Scrap family . . . Aurora Borealis. Hmmmmm . . . how to put this . . .
If I combined Nikki's pains and pooping, Nathan's blue tangle dance, and my sister's (accidental) fainting episode, it would not hold a candle to what we were treated to during this birthing experience. BREECH. Yup. that's the best way to describe it. A painful, agonizing breech of a birth . . . are ya with me?
There is good news, however . . . as mothers do, we quickly get past the twists and torments of those moments the second we lay our eyes on our new little miracle. And this baby is no exception . . . swaddled like a precious snuggle-bug in it's new pizza box cradle, how can one have anything but warm and tender thoughts?
Wanna see more? Sure, no problem . . . our December baby's first steps . . . (hey this is starting to feel pretty good!)

Enjoy the breach . . . I mean breech . . . I mean . . .
D
PS: More love to share soon . . . stay tuned!

... Absolutely Beautiful!! I love the look. And the aurora. For those of you lucky enough to be in the north to see it, you can get updates and aurora tracking at http://www.gi.alaska.edu/AuroraForecast/2 I've been watching for years and no sightings are as far south as Wash. DC. I think I'll just hang a sheet of this kit outside my window and dream a little. |

... This has to be one of the most stunning kits I've ever seen. Until this point, Moody Blues has been one of my all-time favorites, but this one? OH MY!!!!! WOW!!! I can't wait around until my Jr kit gets here, so I had to order the regular kit and have it shipped immediately!!! As SallyD said, it took my breath away!!! |
