We were challenged in the forums by Donna Lee to create my own versions of the awesome 2009 collage prints done by Kay Williamson for Retreat. I decided to take some pics of my steps as I went along. It is time consuming but so worth it when you are left with a very cool set of collaged images. I took some advice, and scanned the black and white stamped paper before inking it and saved it to my computer for future use. Love that!
Step 1 stamp images from Blossom and Papillon onto white cardstock.
Step 2 mask first set of images with Frisket film and over stamp using other stamps.
Step 3 remove masks and scan finished piece to save on your computer for future use.
Step 4 ink paper using variety of favorite colors. I also speckled the paper with green and purple watered down inks.
