So, I'm not sure if you're aware - but it is tragically, unbearably, unbelievably H-O-T here in Wisconsin. I heard this morning that it is officially the hottest day of the year - as if yesterday was any cooler. Heat wave! But it's not, as they say, the heat - it's that gosh darn humidity! When you walk outside you literally feel like you're walking through a piping hot bowl of oatmeal. That's the only way I can describe it. It feels like you could reach out and actually touch the hotness.
Now, the problem is, that technically we Wisconsin-ites are NOT allowed to complain about heat because it is in fact below freezing for six months out of the year. But I don't care. It's hot. Really hot. We're all ready for a little relief - and so are our doggies!
A few of us brought our pups to the Clubhouse today to let them enjoy the air conditioning.
Hope it's not hot oatmeal where you are. What are you doing to keep cool today??
Here's Harry tearing apart an envelope he found somewhere. Tearing paper is one of his favorite pastimes. Which is fine, unless it's like a birth certificate or something :)
