Digital...from "virgin" to "newbie"...

Okay, so, I've been lurking around the Gallery admiring all those folks who do digital layouts for some time now.  I've been wanting to try it for YEARS. While I know I'll never be able to give up "traditional scrapping", I finally took the plunge and dabbled with digi yesterday!

Hunter Shine

This layout was inspired by the layout Jac demonstrates in her digi for beginners tutorial. I just used Solstice instead.

So after the "Hunter" layout, I got a little braver and played with Artifacts:

Ballooning w/Edie

One of my besties, Edie, convinced my family and several friends to all chip in on a hot air balloon ride for my birthday! That's one item off my bucket list taken care of!

Finally, since the first 2 layouts weren't embellished very much (baby steps, you know), I wanted to try my hand at adding 3D embellies to a layout. I found a template in the Expressions collection that caught my eye, and used that to plug in my own backgrounds and embellies.

Emma & Max

Not bad for a newbie, eh?
