Did ya miss me?

Can you believe that I'm actually busting out a blog here? It's been ages since I've popped in to say hey . . . but here I am in the early morning hours with all my work done ( :) ) and I just got the urge to chat it up!

Actually, I'd really like to thank all of you who participated in the card call for my dad as he recovered from his bypass surgery — he was just blown away by all of the love and support that poured out of this place. He's not usually an emotional guy, but this definitely choked him up. He's doing very well in his recovery. He and mom came over for dinner on Friday night for his first outing and it was awesome to see him sitting at my table again laughing and enjoying himself. Things like this that touch our lives always remind us of what's really important, how fragile we all are, and why we should be thankful for each other. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for your kindness, support, love, and prayers — it has meant the world to me and my family.

(Pause here to find a kleenex . . .)

On an entirely different note, I have some serious December kit "spoilers" to offer you . . .

. . .

. . .

ha . . . just kidding! (Had you going, didn't I?)

I will tell you, though, that as the sheets were rolling off the presses, I nearly lost my breath. When I brought them back to the Clubhouse, I had to perform CPR on several staffers, and as each layout and card and project is being created, I'm having to order up oxygen tanks to tote around!

This collection is truly to die for . . . and if you're not a Member of a club, I might suggest that you hop online this very moment to join so you'll be guaranteed a chance to get your hands on one — they will fly off the shelves . . . I'm just saying . . .

Love you all!

D

Dinah - I am so glad that your father is well on his road to recovery - very true that events like that really do have us taking a closer look and counting our blessings.

You are such a tease!!! Makes me glad that I get TWO differents kits each month! Hmmm...maybe I'll need to get the senior kit...

Have a peaceful Thanksgiving and we will continue to keep you and your family in our prayers.
