Hello Club Stampers!  Have you checked out your Feb. Club Stamp kit yet?

Castaway Club Stamp Project

Here is the Long Stitch Album, a done project on top of an undone project, it's always fun to see the transformation.

This stitched book allows for one of my favorite things, chunky pages!!!!  Shells, coins, little bottles, Scrabble tiles, dimensional flowers, beads, anything that is chunky can be used as an embellishment on this albums pages because the spacing in the stitching allows for it!  Totally fun.

Castaway

I'm not done decorating the inside of my Long Stitch Album yet, but here are parts and pieces of a couple of my inside chunky pages... to get you thinkin' chunky.

Thought the wooden Scrabble tiles were fun to use here, other times they would be too bulky.

Castaway

Not sure if it shows or not, but I used foam pop dots behind some of the photos and page titles to add a little more dimension and bulk.

Added the shells & a coin that came with the CS Castaway kit on this page.

More wooden letters on this one....

I put a memorabilia pockets on both the front and back inside covers, so I have plenty of room for stashing other memorabilia and don't have to worry about the bulk.  Also, attaching the three glass bobbles with a dab of Glossy Accents worked well.

Another thing worth mentioning, to top it off, have fun with the wooden cover frame. Matte board risers are provided for attaching onto the backside of the frame so photos can be slid in and out of it.  This wooden frame was painted with white acrylic paint and then splattered & smeared with Color Wash spray, Topped off with a little rubber stamping.

Gotta go finish decorating the other future chunky pages in this album.  Hoping you enjoy the extra space available for your chunky pages.

Thanks for looking.

Kay
