Last November, my Grandparents celebrated their 55th Wedding Anniversary! The family all got together to celebrate and obviously lots of pictures were taken. My Grandma put some pictures in a scrapbook album from their 50th anniversary and just continued to add the pictures from the 55th. A couple weeks ago I was visiting and saw it. I told my her it needed some color (it was just the pictures pasted on the white paper that came with the album). I offered to help her scrapbook it; she was a little hesitate at first, but then handed it over and said, "Just surprise me." I finally opened it up Friday night and got busy. This afternoon I finished it!!! I hope they LOVE it! Here is my one of my favorite pages:
( I just love the Pure & Simple Kit)
Thank for Looking! :)

... I wonder why people hesitate when someone offers to help them scrapbook their pictures? Do they think it really could look any "worse" than pictures slapped all over a white page? Do they really think you are going to "sneeze" puppy or balloon stickers everywhere on the page? They are going to be happily shocked and amazed when they see what you have done, Christine! It looks gorgeous already! |
