Tricia - you've done it again! This is really fun.
I tried your ideas and then branched out a little. After I had applied the alcohol ink to about a 2" piece of tubing, I squeezed some glitter glue into one end and 'blew' it through with the canned air. Then I cut it into smaller beads. Love the bit of added glitz.
I also tried a bit of embossing on the outside of the bead much like Nikki did with the paper beads, but I tended to melt the tubing before melting the embossing powder. Now I have some uniquely shaped beads.
Experimenting was fun and I really thank you for this easy, inexpensive and pretty much foolproof idea.

Annette you may need to update your Flash player (free download). That works for lots of folks that have trouble with the videos. Also, you can try switching to a different internet browser and clearing your internet cookies and cache.

Oh my! All of my ceiling fan pull chains are now "beaded", my fingers are quite permanently colorful, but I can't seem to stop. I'm thinking maybe beaded curtains for the summer-
