My Artwork

My Works of Art: 139

For the (DIY) Collage swap. Images from early kits:
stamps from some early kits:
Language of Love, Impresion Art, Weekender, Garden La Fleur, Celestial, To You With Love, Extra Extra, Let Me Count the Ways.
I stamped the images on glossy paper, and then for the colors, used alcohol inks. (I wanted it to go quite fast! LOL)

My sample card made with my new hand-made mosaic stamp (direction in the Stamp Rap.)

Image overstamped with mosaic tile stamp covered with Versamark ink; then embossed with clear embossing ink. Sandstone CS ink applied between the tiles, & wiped off the top of the tiles. In real life, the tiles do appear glossier; just the glare is not there in this photograph.

My attempt at the Versailles Club Stamp mosaic stamp project shown in the Stamp Rap. In my first attempt, I tried it without cushioning between the rubber and the wood block, but it failed miserably, due to the varying thicknesses in different areas of the UM sheet scraps. So I turned the block over and tried again, this time using two layers of green "fun foam" you can get at any craft store, and this time it worked beautifully...

The scraps came from just one sheet of UMs (Versailles CST), and they covered this wood block of 6" x 5".

What helps to cover a large area is to cut the pieces very small; because that way you can increase the space between each piece, and be able to cover more area. If you cut the pieces very large, there will be less overall "grout" space taken up between them.
