To request a friend, click on "Community".

Then clik on "Neighbors" to view all registered users. Select any name to bring up their profile page.

You'll see a "Friends" button right next tho their picture. Click "Friends".

Choose "Request Connection".

A dialogue box will appear. Type a message to your potential friend and click "Submit". Your request is complete.
