How Do I Prepare My Photos For Uploading?
To resize and prepare photos yourself, the guidelines are:

No longer than 600 pixels on the longest side, around 250kb file size. Web-friendly graphics are 72ppi resolution.

If you need help in resizing and preparing  photos:

  1. Save your scanned or photographed layout(s) to your computer.
  2. Go to www.picresize.com
  3. Click Browse, locate your photo on your computer, and click Continue. (Depending on the size of your photo, it can take several minutes to load.)
  4. Once loaded, look for “Step 2” and choose Custom by clicking the bubble.
  5. Input 600 in either the Width or Height box, and choose Pixels from the drop-down box . . .
    • If the photo is vertical, then input 600 in the Height box and leave the Width box blank.
    • If the photo is horizontal, then input 600 in the Width box and leave the Height box blank.
  6. Skip Step 3, go to the bottom of that screen and verify that the file type is a JPG. Click Resize, and your artwork will be resized.
  7. Choose "Click Here to Download/Save As" . . . Depending on your computer type, browser software and browser version, you may or may not be offered another screen to choose where, on your computer, to save your resized picture. If you are not offered another screen, then your picture has been saved to your computer (most likely in your Downloads folder).
